Finally after a week or more the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. had release an statement regarding the issue of having Maria Venus Raj dethroned. According to them, Miss Raj should produce a Philippine passport in a month and a half to be able to have her crown back to her.

Here’s a part of the statement of BPCI, addressed to Ricky Lo, a columnist:

“The executive committee of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) announced today that after due deliberation we have re-assessed the situation pertaining to Ms.Maria Venus Raj and have decided, for humanitarian reasons, that if she’s able to obtain a valid Philippine passport, we will reinstate her as the reigning Bb. Pilipinas Universe.”
