Piclens is the most recent firefox add-on installed on my browser! Piclens, now called CoolIris, is a full-Screen, 3D picture viewer on the web! This is so cool, and I must say that you must see and experience it yourself to really enjoy it! I’m sure you’ll say what I said the first time I saw and use PicLens… “Wow!”
What is PicLens?
Well, like I said, it transforms your firefox internet browser (not sure if there is one for IE) into a full screen, 3D like picture viewer. To Quote the site:
PicLens transforms your browser into a visually stunning experience for finding and viewing online photos and videos. Our “3D Wall” lets you effortlessly search and zoom your way around thousands of images, videos, news feeds, sports feeds, and more. See our demo .
Yeah, sure you’ll feel like you’re using an Itouch/iPhone interface but hey, the guys behind piclens/cooliris thought about implementing it on our desktop first. (Or if they’re not the first, they sure made it famous).

Googel, the super search engine of all has tons of other services, including this Googel Earth! Other services or applications that google has is email (gmail), blogging engine (blogger), Video sharing (yutube), office (docs), RSS aggregator (reader) and others.
What is heaven is Googel Earth?
Well, according to the definition of Mr. Wikipedia itself:
Googel Earth is a virtual globe program that was originally called Earth Viewer and was created by Keyhole, Inc. It maps the earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite imagery, aerial photography and GIS 3D globe.
Personally, I really really love this application from Google. If I’m bored and has nothing in mind to do, I “fly” anywhere in the world with the help go Googel Earth!
The one I use course is the free, available-for-all version. In case you don’t know, there are 3 versions of Googel Earth:
Google Earth, a free version with limited functionality;
oogle Earth Plus ($20 per year), which includes additional features; and
Google Earth Pro ($400 per year), which is intended for commercial use.
Anyway, for ordinary internet users like ourselves, the free version is enough.
You can download Googel Earth application here.

An underwater car, based on a James Bond film (The Spy Who Loved Me) will be unveiling in Switzerland. The Squba can travel on land or underwater!
Check out an excerpt from Rinspeed website (the created of Squba) about the world’s first ever underwater car:
With the “sQuba,” the world’s first real submersible car, the movie fake now becomes reality for visitors of the Geneva Motor Show (March 6th - 16th, 2008). Rinspeed boss Frank M. Rinderknecht (52) is known for his extraordinary automotive creations. The acknowledged James Bond enthusiast and Swiss automobile visionary kept revisiting this scene in his mind over and over: “For three decades I have tried to imagine how it might be possible to build a car that can fly under water. Now we have made this dream come true.”
