Angel Castiel
Do you know who Castiel is? Or to be more specific, who Angel Castiel is? Well, if you do a quick googel search, you will know that Castiel is the new character in the super hit TV series “Supernatural“.
I was quite sadden when I found out that there is no Angel Castiel in “real life”.. meaning there’s no real Angel Castiel in books and in any church books… It’s just a character in a TV series… I thought Castiel is like Samhain, lord of the Dead character which is really a character (you may want to check Supernatural’s Halloween episode).
Angel Castiel is played by Misha Collins. You might know him from the movie Karla and Girl Interrupted.
Anyway, Castiel is An angel of Thursday according to “Angel of the Day” website.

He tries to communicate with him twice after his resurrection, but fails to do so after incorrectly assuming Dean is capable of withstanding the power of his voice. He later meets with Dean within the body of a human host, and tells him that he had raised him because God has work for him to do. Dean is skeptical, but both Bobby and Sam believe the claim to be true, as there is no other being that they can find or know of that is capable of pulling a soul out of Hell and that is also immune to all the known methods of killing supernatural creatures.

Wikipedia says that he’s supposed to be based on Cassiel, the archangel of Saturday, solitude and tears, and who watched over the deaths of kings.
He’s one of the seven archangels of the Kabbalah too, apparently.
