How to Dowload MP3 Legally

This is an old post actually. I have a tip before on how to donwload mp3 files but i’m gonna re-post it here for my new visitors’ sake. This tip uses Googel to search for mp3 files.

Here’s the text you type in the text search box of Google:

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “simple plan”

Just replace “simple plan” with what you want.

The result will be directory structure of websites/servers that hosts mp3s!

This really works. Try it.

How to Dowload Utube Videos

Just like the MP3 Dowload post above, this is an old tip/post. There are tons of video on yutube and other yutube-like website. Would it be nice to dowload a copy of it on your hard drive? Oh yeah it is!

The trick here is to use a firefox plugin.

Here’s a few step to download videos…

• First and important tip, USE FIREFOX! Firefox is great internet browser where you can download cool add-ins
• Second, install a plugin called VideoDownloader of Fast Download.
• After installing the plugin, an icon will appear on the bottom right corner of the browser. That means the plugin(s) are installed correctly.
• That’s it, start downloading… Enjoy!

Do you know where I get my mp3 quality music online? When I use my laptop/computer doing projects, blogs and stuff, there’s always a backgroup mp3 music (or sometimes motivating tunes like flight of the bumblebee). The first source of my mp3 music is of course my ipod, second is Yahoo music’s Launchcast.

But did you know that there are tons of free music online (streaming mp3) scattered around the internet? Late I found out about mixturtle and others just like it that you can freely use. You can search and listen to your favorite music and enjoy your online browsing more!

Yuoporn, need I say more?

I have an original yuoporn post on my wordpress blog and it has been consistently on the front page of google SERP. Although this is a misspelled word of the actual website, yuoporn still has a considerable amout of traffic.

Here are some details from that keyword based on the data of Google Analytics. Did you know that the traffic searches mostly came from Italy? Yes it did.

Anyway, yuoporn (and the original website) has a continuous and consistent traffic. So having it on the first page of SERP is real coolnes! hehehe

Do you know the classical tune by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov titled “Flight of the Bumblebee”? You don’t?! Nah, I’m sure you know.

Flight of the Bumblebee, you might not know the song/music by title by I’m sure once you hear it you’ll say “Ahh, so that’s it!, i Know that!”

It caught my fancy when I was watching an episode of Barney and Friends the other day (while I was killing time here in my homestay home in Burnaby, Canada). Barney was telling a story about a bunny, a bear, and two other animals… They ran and ran and ran while the Flight of the Bumblebee soundtrack plays in the background!

I got my company issued laptop the day we arrived here in Burnaby, Canada… Well, actually that’s the first day of work in Canada. That’s Septermber 3, 2008.

My other brother finally blogged something that is both ‘interests’ us and both ‘beneficial’, what was it? How to Claim Insurance!

The topic of claiming for insurance caught my attention. Why? Well aside from that I am insured (life insurance) and my eldest son too (educational insurance), the hot hot topic of claiming and insurance will surely benefit someone out there in the internet who is looking for more information about insurance… specially claiming them.

Different Kinds of Insurance

There are many kinds of insurance. I could list them all here and it may take along time with explanation for each, so I’m not going to do that.. Instead I’ll point you to my brother’s ‘A LAW A DAY‘ blog who really talks about INSURANCE in details.

But still, let me name a few. There life insurance, educational insurance, there’s also a group insurance, car insurance and other non-life insurance.

Claim Insurance

In my case, which as I mention before, I have a life insurance and educational insurance for more son. How to claim them? There are two ways:

1. When the insured Outlives Maturity Due

The claim is payable immediately on maturity of the policy. This is true in “Endowment Insurance”

2. When Policy Matures by Insured’s Death

The claim is payable within 60 days after the presentation of the claim and filing of the proof of death of the insured. Delay entitles the insured to damages double the legal rate of interest per annum as fixed by the Monetary Board, unless the delay is due to a fraudulent claim (Section 242, Insurance Code)
